BASHARATYAN V is a prêt-à-porter women’s wear label designed by the talented fashion designer Veronica Basharatyan that manifests outstanding, stylish, and elegant, high-quality garments using unique, premium fabrics.
Over the past 13 years, the BASHARATYAN V brand has been dressing women all around the world, emphasizing their femininity and individuality with silhouettes ranging from body-con dresses to loose and oversized shapes, using mostly natural fabrics.
Veronica Basharatyan graduated from the London College of Fashion in July 2010 and launched her own label the same year. To achieve a broader understanding of fashion, Veronica also studied at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan and worked at Ralph Laurent’s sales department in London.
In 2011, Veronica Basharatyan won the All-Russia competition of young designers “Velvet Seasons” in Sochi, organised by the legendary Russian couturier Slava Zaitsev.
The brand’s signature ‘ribbon knit’ technique has been featured in several seasons in a charming range of garments and accessories and has won the approval of many customers and fashion critics, including Barbra Streisand, for whom the brand designed a tailored silk “chiffon fur” coat, hand-made from over 50 meters of the finest English silk.
All of the early BASHARATYAN V collections were dedicated to a specific country or a theme, e.g., Iceland, Iran, Siberia, and so on. BASHARATYAN V garments have conquered the hearts of celebrities such as Jessie J, Nicole Scherzinger, Ornella Muti, and others.
Today, the BASHARATYAN V brand continues to produce women’s prêt-à-porter clothing every season, and despite the ‘fast fashion’ trends, the brand creates more timeless and stylish pieces and classy garments with a twist that demonstrate women’s individuality, diversity, and subtle sexuality. BASHARATYAN V style is an all-time classic clothing, which combines relaxed fit, smart casualness and a sense of freedom.
