The women’s clothing brand BASHARATYAN V was founded in 2010 in London, where the founder of the brand Veronica Basharatyan lived. After graduating from the London College of Fashion (London College of Fashion) and the Milan Marangoni Institute (Istituto Marangoni), Veronica developed a proprietary ribbon knitting technique “ribbon knit”, which won the approval of buyers and fashion experts.

The first pret-a-porter BASHARATYAN V collection included 45 images and was dedicated to the role of women in the East in general and in Iran in particular. Each piece had a unique print in Farsi, where poems by poets such as Saadi and Hafiz, as well as lyrical Iranian songs, were handwritten.
According to the brand concept, each collection is inspired by a separate country, such as Iceland, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Armenia, Japan, etc. Having won the All-Russian competition of young designers “Velvet Seasons” in Sochi, organized by the legendary Russian couturier Vyacheslav Zaitsev, Veronica received an invitation to participate in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia in autumn 2011.
By the recommendation of the Italian Consulate, Veronica Basharatian was included in the official schedule of MILANO MODA DONNA in the “NEW INCOMING DESIGNER” category in February 2012. In 2013 – 2014, Veronica participated in LONDON FASHION WEEK in London. A few years later, in 2019, Veronica held a private fashion show at the Armenian Embassy in Moscow.
The brand’s products were worn by Jessie Jay, Nicole Scherzinger, Ornella Muti, Barbara Streisand, the latter especially liked the handmade silk chiffon fur coat made of more than 50 meters of the finest English silk. International and Russian press regularly mentioned the brand in the author’s materials.
